Reinterpreting the M-1951 Arctic Trousers - standard military outer shells for colder weather issued during the Korean War, worn over the eponymous M-1951 Field Trousers and the counterpart to the legendary M-51 Fishtail Parka.
Three pockets have been added to the original five - two custom YKK invisible zippered pockets layered behind the exaggerated 3D front cargos and an additional rear pocket. The wide legs of the reference are further accentuated with closed front pleats, dramatically tapering the waist.
Antithetical to its origins as a cold weather pant, the legs are chopped for warmer weather and the NyCo fabric is replaced with a high density Japanese gabardine cotton with an FC-free water repellant coating.
- High density Japanese gabardine cotton
- FC-free DWR coating
- 2x 3D front and 2x 3D rear cargo pockets
- 2x layered inline cargo pockets behind 3D fronts with custom YKK invisible zipper closures
- Made in USA of Japanese fabric (100% cotton)
- Recommend washing on cold settings with dark colors
