The IDO Moto jacket is based off the classic double rider silhouette, but eschews the traditional notched, folded collar in favor of a sleeker stand collar.
The leather base is produced by Chicago’s tried and true Horween Leather Company, one of the oldest running tanneries in the USA (founded in 1905). Double horse front leather was chosen due to its increased durability compared to calf leather in addition to the beautiful grain inherent to horse leather.
In order to combat the increased stiffness from the use of horse leather, Schoeller Keprotec Stretch Kevlar inserts were utilized in high articulation areas, negating the need for a break-in period without sacrificing protection in points high risk for impact and abrasion.
Italian Raccagni zippers and Japanese Bemberg lining finish off the IDO Moto, where it is assembled in Los Angeles.
